The historic Greek club Peristeri, that was recently promoted to the A1 again has agreed terms with 23-year old Cedric Simmons who spent last season with the Sacramento Kings.
Simmons was picked at number 15 of the 2006 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Hornets, but never lived up to the expectations partly due to injuries. In three years in the NBA he has played 75 games in total.
At 206cm Simmons plays as a power forward. He started last season with the Chicago Bulls, to be traded later to Sacramento getting less than 5 minutes playtime per game.
