ImageIt's been a very active couple of days in Greece with many teams announcing transfers in an effort to complete their rosters for the upcoming season.

Panellinios announced the transfer of the 30-year old US-guard William Avery who has experience of the Greek League as he has already spent quite a few seasons in Greece. Avery has competed in the jerseys of Makedonikos, Panionios, AEK and last season Trikala where he averaged 14 points, 1.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists.

AEK also agreed with a player who has experience of the Greek League, namely the 25-year old US-guard Donnie McGrath who also holds an Irish passport. The club also announced the signing of 20-year old Christos Marinos. Both players wore the jersey of Egaleo last season.

Panionios had reached an agreement with the Greek center Dimitris Charitopoulos since a long time, but now it is official. The 207cm tall Charitopoulos will spend next season with Panionios after spending last season with Trikala.

Talking of Trikala, the club came to an agreement with Montenegrin center Savo Djikanovic who will continue with the club for one more season. Djikanovic has played for Buducnost, Bar, Lovcen, Olympiacos, Hemofarm, Olympia Larissa and Kolossos Rhodes before joining Trikala last season.

Trikala also announced the signing of Giorgos Apostolidis. The 25-year old Apostolidis is 199cm tall and has played for PAOK, Iraklis, Olympia Larissa, Panellinios and last season AEL where he averaged 6.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists.

Moreover Trikala is expected to announce the signing of the Slovenian forward-center Miha Zupan within the next days as both parts have agreed on everything. 207cm tall Zupan averaged 6.8 points and 4.6 rebounds last season in the Euroleague with Olimpija Ljubljana.

Euroleague participant Maroussi came to an agreement with 28-year old Michalis Pelekanos for the next season. Pelekanos belongs to Olympiacos, where he also spent last season, and will play for Maroussi on loan from the Reds. Maroussi effectively completed their roster with the signing of the player.
