Cheshire JetsHead coach Paul Smith has today made the double announcement of the re-signing of Jets favorites James Hamilton and Calvin Davis for the forth coming season. Both players who have made Chester their home were told of the Coach's decision to make them joint team captains and are delighted to be given a shared captaincy role at the club.

"I'm really pleased to be bringing these two players back to the Northgate, James and Calvin have very different leadership styles. Calvin is a more reflective player he tends to get across his points better on a one on one basis. James on the other hand is more vocal and is a natural leader, the team need all of these qualities in a captain which is why I've chosen to hand it to these two players. I know that's James and Calvin feel like they have unfinished business from last season, they are used to winning so I fully expect them to lead by example from the outset."

James Hamilton added;

"It's a great honor for me and Calvin to be asked to be joint captain for the Jets, it's a fantastic way to teach the younger fans about basketball on and off court because that's what being a captain is all about. I'm looking forward to the responsibility. We have all the pieces we need to have a successful season and hopefully win some trophies I look forward to the challenge."
