Baskonia earned a big victory over Bayern Munich at home (76-68) and boosted its chances to advance to the playoffs.

The Basques never trailed in the second half and an 8-0 run late in the fourth quarter let them take a double-digit lead and never look back (72-62).

Vincent Poirier made a two-pointer at the buzzer and helped the hosts take the much-needed tie-breaker, overcoming a six-point loss in the first game in Munich (76-68).

Matt Janning led the winners with 13 points, as Poirier added 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Derrick Williams had a game-high 18 points for the losing squad, with Danilo Barthel posting 11.
