As the General Manager of the Frankfurt-based club, Gunnar Wobke, confirmed the club will withdraw from the upcoming FIBA EuroChallenge because of the difficult economical situation.
"We need to concentrate on the long-term future of the club having in mind the current economic crisis which is difficult right now, like all clubs and businesses.
We would like to thank the competition for the wild-card they offered us, but unfortunately we have no other choice than to decline it.", said Wobke.
