LeBron James returned to action, after missing 17 games with an injury, and led the LA Lakers past the LA Clipper in overtime (120-123).
In a game where the Lakers led by as many as 14 points, the Clippers outscored them 37-25 in the fourth quarter to force an overtime (112-112).
In the extra period, James and the visitors stood tall and earned a crucial road win.
The “King” came one step away from the triple-double, with 24 points, 14 rebounds and nine assists.
Lance Stephenson (20 points), Brandon Ingram (19 points) and Rajon Rondo (14 points, 13 assists) also stood out for the winners.
Six players scored in double figures for the losing squad, as Lou Williams had a team-high 24 points.
The Lakers improved to 27-25 and came close to the Clippers, who dropped to 28-24, but are still eighth in the Western Conference.
