Per Emiliano Carchia of Sportando, Italy are planning to apply to host one group of the first round of the 2021 EuroBasket.
The city that will host the group will be Milano and the venue the Mediolanum Forum, where the 2014 EuroLeague Final Four took place.
It remains to be seen what FIBA will decide, as more than one countries are expected to host the 2021 EuroBasket.
Italy wants to organise the event to celebrate the 100 years of the Italian Basketball Federation.
