Yesterday was announced that Matt Lojeski of Okapi Aalstar is the MVP of the Belgium league. The 24 year old Shooting gaurd leads the league in scoring with 18ppg while shooting 67% from inside and 31% from outside. He also has 5rpg and 2 apg. Lojeski and 2 others Aalst players(Trevor Huffman and Stephane Pelle) created some controversy with their move to Base Oostende before the Play-offs. Although Base Oostende hasn't confirmed this, Okapi Aalstar and the players them self confirmed this rumour.
Antwerp Giants coach Eddy Casteels became coach of the year. The Belgium national team coach led his team to the fourth place. An other Antwerp Giant Christophe Beghin was also honoured. He became the player of the year(Best Belgium player). Maxime De Zeeuw became the rookie of the year.
