Thanks to an 0-7 run, the “Whites” led by six (57-63), however the hosts reacted and closed the game on an 8-0 run of their own to seal the deal (65-63) and claim their 11th straight win, behind Datome’s three-pointer (driving layup and one).
Facundo Campazzo had the opportunity to force an overtime, but missed the two-pointer at the buzzer.
Datome had a game-high 17 points for the winners, as three more players scored in double figures.
On the other hand, Rudy Fernandez scored a team-high 12 points for the losing squad, with Jaycee Carroll and Anthony Randolph adding 11 points apiece.
Fenerbahce improved to 14-1 and remained on top of the standings, whereas Real Madrid dropped to 12-3.
