After practicing with the first team for a couple of days, the coaching staff has given the green light for his signing and the 208 cm tall power forward has signed an agreement until the end of the season.
30-year old Vladimir Dašić has played for clubs like Real Madrid, Gran Canaria, Lottomatica Rome, Besiktas, Petrol Olimpija and Budućnost VOLI.
His last team was AEK Larnaca, where he spent the last season, when he suffered a tough knee injury that prevented him from playing at last year’s EuroBasket.
Dašić considers coming to Zadar to be an ideal chance to get back to the basketball courts in the best possible way.
“We are all aware of what Zadar means for basketball and what kind of goals are set for each season. I can only say that money definitely is not any kind of motive for which I would have come here.
I am 30 years old, I am fully fit, perhaps the fittest in my entire career. I am looking forward to playing in front of passionate Zadar fans and I hope that we would have a great season,” Dašić told.
