The hosts made a great start to the game and were in front by 15 (26-11), yet the visitors responded and went on a 17-28 run to cut the deficit to four (43-39).

Lithuania, who have already qualified to the World Cup, outscored Croatia 24-10 in the third quarter to bring the lead back to double digits (67-49) and cruise to an easy victory.

Renaldas Seibutis scored 15 points for the winners, whereas Miro Bilan had 12 points for the losing squad.

Lithuania claimed their ninth win in 10 games (9-1), whereas Croatia lost for the sixth time and is on the brink of elimination (4-6).
