Sharon Drucker accepted 3-year contract offer from Fortitudo. But according to Drucker himself, Zoran Savic who was appointed as a general manager, cancelled the contract. Savic wants Dragan Sakota to take the head coach position. “I’m open for offers”, said Drucker to the Israeli media.
Italian club finished 8th in domestic league and ULEB Cup knock-out stage after finishing 5th in Group F. Sharon Drucker previously worked in Belgium, Israel, Lithuania and Russia.
Drucker led Hapoel Jerusalem to the ULEB Cup title in 2004. Israeli club defeated Real Madrid 83-72 but refused to play in Euroleague.
