The final score 83:72. Winning a trophy against arch rivals should boost the confidence of the players. Meanwhile Lietuvos Rytas should be careful to avoid similar scenario in the Euroleague Top 16. Coach Aleksandar Trifunovic expressed his faith in his players despite the loss. His opponent Rimantas Grigas wished that Žalgiris would play like that in every game.
