The Oklahoma City Thunder endured the New Orleans Pelicans’ comeback (122-116) and claimed their fifth straight victory (5-4).

Paul George and Dennis Schroder led the winners with 23 and 22 points, respectively, with Russell Westbrook adding 17 points, seven rebounds and nine assists.

On the other hand, Julius Randle had a game-high 26 points, with Anthony Davis posting 20 and Nikola Mirotic 16, along with 16 boards.

The Thunder were down by one at halftime (62-63), yet they outscored their opponents 38-23 in the third quarter to take a 14-point lead (100-86).

The Pelicans tried to come back, but came up short and suffered their sixth loss in 10 games (4-6).

Westbrook left the game with a left ankle sprain and it is still unknown for how long he will be sidelined.
