The Philadelphia 76ers (6-4) are unbeatable at home (6-0), after claiming their second victory in a row. This time, the Sixers downed the Detroit Pistons (4-4) (109-99).

Joel Embiid led the winners with 39 points, while shooting 9-of-15 from 2-point range, 1-of-3 from beyond the arc and 18-of-23 from free-throw line. In addition, Embiid grabbed 17 boards and blocked 2 shots in 33 minutes of action. J.J. Redick (on 2/6 shooting from three) and Mike Muscala (on 2/8 shooting from three) added 16 and 14 points, respectively.

On the other hand, the only Pistons player, who tried to oppose the Sixers, was Blake Griffin. He finished the game with 38 points, on shooting 12-of-21 from the field, including 2-of-7 from three. The 29-year-old power forward also grabbed 13 rebounds, dished six assists (tied a season high) and tallied two steals, but made 7 turnovers.

Langston Galloway came off the bench to score 13 points (on 3/5 shooting from two), Zaza Pachulia and Reggie Jackson both managed 9 points.

The Detroit Pistons, after a perfect start of the season, have lost four games in a row.
