Barcelona outscored Maccabi Tel-Aviv 25-7 in the third quarter and cruised to their third consecutive victory in the EuroLeague (74-58).

Victor Claver led the winners with 14 points and seven rebounds, as Kyle Kuric added 13. Ante Tomic contributed 12 points and eight boards and made history in the EuroLeague.

Angelo Caloiaro had a team-high 11 points for Maccabi, with Johnny O’Bryant scoring 10 and grabbing six boards.

The Catalans had a six-point advantage at the end of the first quarter (18-12), but the Israelis improved their performance and cut the deficit to just one at halftime (34-33).

In the third quarter, the hosts dominated their opponents on both ends of the floor and went on a 25-7 run to take a 18-point lead and never look back (59-40). The visitors couldn’t turn things around and lost the game.

Barcelona climbed higher in the standings, thanks to their third straight victory (3-2), whereas Maccabi were defeated for the fourth time in five games (1-4).
