The Los Angeles Lakers (2-3) for the second time in the win column after the victory (121:114) over the Denver Nuggets (4-1) at home.

LeBron James made his first triple-double as a Laker. The King led the way with 28 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists, while shooting 10-of-17 from the floor.

With 4:58 minutes left, Nikola Jokic with a jumper made 108:104 in favour for Denver, but then Lance Stephenson started the Lakers’ comeback. During the final 4 minutes, Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball and Josh Hart extended the Lakers’ lead to 110:117 and the hosts never looked back.

Six Lakers finished in double figures. Kyle Kuzma and JaVale McGee posted 22 and 21 points, respectively. Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram missed the game due to suspensions.

On the other hand, Nikola Jokic in the first Nuggets’ loss contributed 24 points and grabbed 11 boards, Jamal Murray poured 22 points and 10 rebounds.
