The Lithuanian forward Simas Jasaitis is reported to be close to sign either with the newly promoted to the ACB, Lucentum Alicante or with Galatasaray of Turkey.
Galatasaray seems to have the edge right now to sign a one-year contract with the ex-player of Joventut. Jasaitis has also played with Maccabi Tel Aviv and of course with Lietuvos Rytas in his native Lithuania with which he also won the ULEB Cup in 2005.
