Gal Mekel has signed with Zenit St Petersburg and returns to Russia for the first time in three years.
The 30-year-old guard spent the previous season with Gran Canaria, averaging 7.5 points and 3.2 assists in 34 games.
Mekel comes back to Russia after a three-year absence. He played for Nizhny Novgorod during the 2014/15 season.
