In an exclusive interview with TalkBasket.net, Dee Bost talked about his new team, Khimki, Giorgos Bartzokas and more.

Here is what the 29-year-old guard said:

On what motivated him to sign with Khimki this off-season: “The opportunity to play in the EuroLeague again and play for coach Bartzokas motivated me to join khimki.”

On the pre-season preparation and whether he has adapted well to the team and the city so far: “The preseason is ok so far, I had to leave and join the national team after getting adjusted a little. The city is ok right now for me. We haven’t got our full team yet. But, I’m excited to see how it goes.”

On his thoughts on head coach Giorgos Bartzokas: “He’s a good coach, so I’m trying to learn as much as I can.”

On if he believes Khimki can reach the EuroLeague playoffs for a second straight season: “I don’t want to look to far ahead, I think we have the talent to do so. Just take it one game at a time.”

On his expectations ahead of the new season: “My goal is to remain healthy. As far as expectations, I just want to play and win.”

On the FIBA windows and whether they create problems to the clubs’ pre-season preparation: “Yes, it does create problems, because teams don’t have full rosters, so you have to adjust the way you practice and prepare for certain things. It’s difficult for me also.”
