Kostas Sloukas spoke with the media during the training camp of Greece and referred to his current team, Fenerbahce, as well as the upcoming WC Qualifiers.

Here is what the Greek combo guard said:

On the possibility of leaving the Turkish club and playing for Olympiacos or Panathinaikos: “100% no. I mean, I want to stay with Fenerbahce, because I’m having a good time and because the team is the best in Europe at the moment. The team is in the elite. I’ve put my piece in this, along with many other players, like Jan Vesely and Gigi Datome.

We have created a core. I’m very very happy and I’m glad that I’m their teammate and that we have Obradovic and his assistants as coaches.”

On the FIBA windows: “I think that basketball suffers. Players want to compete with their national teams, but it’s impossible.”
