Per Davide Chinellato of the Italian newspaper “Gazzeta dello Sport”, Danilo Gallinari will not play for Italy in the World Cup Qualifiers in September.
The 30-year-old forward wrote a letter to explain why he will not be available for the national team’s games against Poland and Hungary, mentioning he will remain in Los Angeles to prepare for the upcoming NBA season.
