Daniel Theis of the Boston Celtics talked to the NBC Sports Boston and referred to the season-ending injury he suffered last year (torn meniscus in the left knee) and his recovery.

Here is what the German power forward said:

On his recovery: “I’m getting there. I’ve been back two weeks. I’ve been doing new stuff every day. I’m just happy to be back on the basketball court. I’ve been working out the whole summer, lifting in the weight room when I wasn’t back home.”

On his current target: “My main goal is to be ready for training camp.”

The 26-year old player averaged 5.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game before getting injured.
