Zalgiris managed to stay in the game and closed the first period being ahead with 19-20 as Head Coach Dusan Ivkovic started his lineup with some reserves like Andreas Glyniadakis and Jamon Gordon.

The guests kept the lead up until the 16th minute of the game (28-29), but happy hour was over for the Liths and Olympiacos run a partial 13-5 for the final 41-34 of the first half.
