According to Esport3, Kyle Kuric is very close to join Barcelona, after passing the medical check-up.

Although the 28-year-old guard is under contract with Zenit St. Petersburg, there is an option that enables him to be let go, in case a Euroleague team makes him an offer. That said, the Catalans’ official announcement is now expected.

Kuric also holds a Slovakian passport, so he will not be counted as a non-EU player, while he will replace Petteri Koponen, who left Barcelona a few days ago.

The 28-year-old player averaged 16.4 points and 38.6% in three pointers in the 2017-18 VTB League.
