J.R. GiddensTo gear up for the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Top 16, which starts in less than two weeks, Power Electronics Valencia announced on Friday the signing of swingman J.R. Giddens, who ranked eighth in three-point shooting as a rookie in the regular season.

Giddens (196, 25) arrives from Asseco Prokom Gdynia in Poland, which was eliminated from the competition by the end of the first phase despite his solid numbers and high percentages.

His best game was his very first, 20 points on 9-for-9 two-point shooting and 10 rebounds in a losing effort against Khimki Moscow Region. Prior to this season, Giddens played 38 games over two seasons with Boston and New York of the NBA.
