What a last day of 2010, as Lietuvos Rytas announced the signing of Simas Jasaitis while Sarunas Jasikevicius is heading to Turkey, to sign for Fenerbahce.

Just days after getting rid of Igor Milosevic the Lithuanian champions cleared some salary space to offer an acceptable contract to Jasaitis. The player will be returning to the club after spending four years abroad.

As for Jasikevicius he will be enforcing Fenerbahce’s suffering point guard position and will be completing Ukic where, according to him, he will get the chance to fight for Euroleague title. Regarding his move he stated:

“It was a long and difficult mont in Vilnius. The team was unbalanced and I had to put a lot of effort and concentrations to do my best. Now I am heading again to the unknown, but Fenerbahce is a Final Four contender team”
