Euroleague fans will get a special bonus even before Monday’s season opener as Euroleague.TV will offer live broadcasts of three Euroleague American Tour 2010 games in the coming days.
The free service starts Thursday, when Spanish champion Caja Laboral visits the Memphis Grizzlies at 20:00 local time (02:00 CET on Friday). It will be Caja Laboral’s first game ever against an NBA opponent. The club’s fans in Spain will be able to watch live on local broadcaster ETB.
Two days later, there is a double-header available to watch live, CSKA Moscow at the Cleveland Cavaliers, starting at 19:30 local time (01:30 CET Sunday), and then Caja Laboral in San Antonio to play the Spurs one hour later. The CSKA game will be televised live in Russia on RTR Sport, the same as the Caja Laboral will be seen on ETB in the club’s local market.
This special service will be offered to Euroleague fans as a raw feed, without commentary, for technical reasons. Within hours after each game, a compact version without commercials will also be available on Euroleague.TV.
CSKA and Caja Laboral are in the middle of a five-day, five-game, five-city tour of the NBA. The first game on Tuesday saw CSKA challenge the Heat in Miami before losing. CSKA plays one more game, in Oklahoma City on Thursday, that won’t be televised.
