A dagger three-pointer from Sergio Rodriguez gave CSKA Moscow breathing room at the top of the EuroLeague table as they condemned Panathinaikos to a first home defeat of the season.

Rodriguez finished with 21 points, shooting 4/6 from three-point land as CSKA wiped a 10-point third quarter deficit clear to secure a 75-70 win at the OAKA.

Not only did Panathinaikos see its proud home record crumble, but Real Madrid’s seven-game unbeaten stretch also came to a halt at the hands of Unicaja Malaga.

Ray McCallum and Adam Waczynski led Malaga with 15 points each for an 80-75 success.

At the other end of the table, Olimpia Milano were able to move off the foot after they edged Baskonia 83-82 on the road.

Jordan Theodore capped a fine personal performance by scoring the game-winner with 0.6 seconds remaining as he finished with 16 points.

EuroLeague champions Fenerbahce were able to grab its fourth straight win as they beat neighbours Anadolu Efes 89-84 with the latter falling to the bottom of the standings.

Brad Wanamaker led the winners with 18 points.
