Equal treatment is what the Serbians are asking from the Euroleague for Partizan. Serbian newspaper “Novosti” calculated the accumulated points of Partizan during the last three seasons and found that the Serbian club has more, than several teams with A-License.

The rankings in Euroleague’s point system are currently the following:

1. CSKA 134
2. Barcelona 129
3. Olympiacos 120
4. Caja Laboral 119
5. Siena 112
6. Panathinaikos 110
7. Maccabi 110
8. Real Madrid 108
9. Partizan 107
10. Unicaja 90
11. Fenerbahce 73
12. Efes Pilsen 69
13. Roma 69
14. Zalgiris 66

Yet Zalgiris with 66 points enjoys an A License and Partizan with almost double as much doesn’t.

For the record the point system rankings made the seeds of the recent draw. On a three-year basis, 2 points are given for each victory, 1 point for each loss, 2 points for Top-16 qualification, 2 points for quarterfinals qualification, 1 point for reaching the Final Four and 1 point for winning the title in both the Euroleague and the Eurocup.
