YouTube sensation Devin Williams has seen a lot of basketball, but attending the 2017 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four in Istanbul as a special guest of adidas and Euroleague Basketball caused Williams to question everything he had witnessed before.

Williams is the creator, producer and star of the popular YouTube channel In The Lab, and he used his special access in Istanbul to produce a film on his experience.

Titled “The Hidden Gym”, Williams’s half-hour documentary filmed in the Turkish city not only followed the action on the court, but highlighted the drama, colour and passion that is a staple of every EuroLeague game.

The YouTube filmmaker had help from the players, VIPs and of course his own observations to paint the picture of what he called one of his best experiences in basketball.

“The Hidden Gym” builds on the success that Adidas and EuroLeague Basketball have had working together over for the past five years. Last season, Adidas shined a spotlight on the players who make magic week after week on EuroLeague courts with the innovative HERETOCREATE video series.

And, of course, the three-stripes band has made a commitment to the future stars of European basketball with the second-to-none Euroleague Basketball ADIDAS NEXT GENERATION TOURNAMENT.

Williams has soared to fame in the United States as a basketball trainer and filmmaker. He is one of the most widely-viewed basketball filmmakers in the game today with several of his YouTube videos surpassing the million-views mark. After his unforgettable experience alongside cameraman and partner Chuck Anakwenze, Williams is already looking forward to tasting his second Final Four, next year in Belgrade.

Below is what Williams found, while at the Final Four.
