Bosnia & Herzegovina’s Alex Renfroe did not participate in his national team’s morning practice this morning and the team have confirmed that they have excluded him from their roster.
Darko Talic of Bosnian side Igokea is likely to replace him. The official statement says that Renfroe committed a “serious violation of the team’s discipline”.
The official statement:
“KS BiH informs the public that due to a serious violation of the team’s discipline, which was made on the night after the lost match against Sweden, Alex Renfroe will not participate in Eurobasket. […] This move announces a new practice when it comes to representation, that only those who are willing to sacrifice themselves for Bosnia and Herzegovina can play for it.”
