Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James took a swipe at U.S. president Donald Trump on Twitter following the tragedy in Charlottesville.

The three-time NBA champion and four-time MVP shared his views on the riots in Charlottesville, Virginia in the wake of a white nationalist demonstration.

Many people have criticised Trump for not calling out who exactly instigated the attacks, including the Mayor of Charlottesville.

“I’m not going to make any bones about it. I place the blame for a lot of what you’re seeing in American today right at the doorstep of the White House and the people around the president,” said Charlottesville Mayor Michael Signer.

And his views seemed to be shared by LeBron.
