Khimki made their third transfer of the summer by announcing the signing of Benjamin Eze from Montepaschi Siena.
The Nigerian international center signed a 2+1 deal with the Russian finalists. The deal became public according to some websites yesterday via Sergio Scariolo’s twitter account, but the Italian coach denied having a twitter account and claims that it is a fake account.
As for the signing Khimki’s coach said: “I’m glad we signed such an experienced player. Benjamin is motivated, he is a winner and he proved that he can play for major clubs at Montepaschi Siena. He is good in defence and in pick ‘n roll. The most important thing is that he got fighting spirit and strives for wins. I am sure he will help the team mentally too.”
