The contract between Sergio Scariolo and BC Khimki was cancelled by mutual agreement.
Victor Bychkov, BC Khimki GM:
-We want to thank Sergio for good and serious work during 2 years. We made this very difficult decision together with coach after discussion. We hope it will help it will shake up the team and BC Khimki will play successfully in Russian Championship and VTB league.
Sergio Scariolo:
-I want to thank general manager and all the Khimki family for these two years, during this time we did many good things together and the team still is in the group of teams who lead PBL league and VTB league. For me is also a very difficult decision, but I believe that at the same time it was the best thing to do for team and myself.
