Morabanc Andorra La Vella bolstered its backcourt by inking swingman Jaka Blazic, the club announced Sunday.

Blazic (1.96 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz, where he averaged 4.7 points and 2.1 rebounds in 33 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season.

He helped Baskonia reach the EuroLeague Final Four in 2016 and the playoffs last season. Blazic started his career in his native Slovenia, playing for Triglav Kranj and Geoplin Slovan Ljubljana before making his EuroLeague debut with Union Olimpija Ljubljana in the 2011-12 season.

He has also played for Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade before joining Baskonia in 2015. He helped Olimpija win back-to-back Slovenian Cup titles in 2012 and 2013 and lifted five trophies – back-to-back Adriatic League and Serbian Cup crowns in 2014 and 2015, and the Serbian League title in 2015 – in two years with Zvezda.

Blazic is also a member of the Slovenian national team. Blazic played in 116 EuroLeague games in six seasons with Olimpija, Zvezda and Baskonia, and also took part in the 2013-14 EuroCup, averaging 8.3 points in 12 games to make Zvezda reach the semifinals.
