The ink on Jonah Bolden’s his Crvena Zvezda contract is barely dry, but the Australian is already looking at the exit door.
Two weeks removed from his two-year deal at Crvena Zvezda, the 21-year-old was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the NBA Draft and if the franchise decides to take him, Bolden might be leaving Red Star before he even takes to the court.
His two-year contract does include an NBA-out clause.
“They say trust the process,” Bolden says. “For me, the whole journey has been a process from day one. Playing in Belgrade matured me as a man. I also focused a lot on my weaknesses and improving them.”
Bolden joined Crvena Zvezda from fellow Serbian side FMP where he averaged 12.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game last season.
