The reigning Basketball Champions League MVP looks likely to represent the FYR of Macedonia in the upcoming FIBA World Cup qualifiers.

Banvit’s Jordan Theodore has gained a Macedonian passport and joins a long list of naturalised Americans including Bo McCalebb and Jeremiah Massey that have played for the national side.

In addition to being named Basketball Champions League season MVP, Theodore was also a member of the Best Team, while claiming MVP in Banvit’s Turkish Cup victory.

He averaged 16.2 points, 7.5 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game in Champions League along with 18.3 points, 7.2 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game in the Turkish BSL.
