Leicester Riders are just one result away from defending their BBL Championship title after beating Sheffield Sharks 80-71.

The Riders used a strong second quarter to set a platform for victory and they held off a late surge from the Sharks for their 25th league win of the season.

Newcastle Eagles delayed the party for at least another week as they extended their win streak over Glasgow Rocks to 20 games with a 103-86 victory.

Rahmon Fletcher netted a game-high 26 points in the win with Scott Martin and Deondre Parks also scoring 20+.

London Lions followed up a mid-week success over Newcastle with an 83-100 victory at Leeds Force as Navid Niktash netted 26 points in a strong finish.

Also, Sheffield bounced back from their loss on Friday with a 58-92 win away at Manchester Giants with Rashawn Rembert pouring in 27 points to help his side join the Wolves on an 18-12 record.
