The EuroLeague’s basement side Unics Kazan host Galatasaray on Tuesday, looking to lift themselves off the foot of the table.

And the Russian side will look to gain inspiration from their history of past match-ups to lead them to victory in Kazan. Unics hold a perfect 6-0 record against their Turkish rivals, between 2010 and 2013 in both EuroLeague and EuroCup competition.

Unics though has lost their two home games to higher-ranked teams by a single point each and will be anxious to not let that happen again. The hosts certainly have enough firepower with the league-leading scorer, Keith Langford (23.8 ppg.) on the roster.

“I think Galatasaray is a balanced team, even if not a leading one, but they play even with all teams,” Unics coach Evgeny Pashutin said. “They have very dangerous centers and shooters. Our task is to try to neutralize their leaders and be attentive at the rebounds. Their big men are very aggressive under the basket. We have a very dynamic schedule this season, after each game we have to analyze the mistakes and go forward.”

Real Madrid will look to bounce back from last week’s defeat at Darussafaka Dogus when they face off against a streaky Brose Bamberg at the Barclaycard Center.

After dropping two of its last three games, Real hope to see Sergio Llull and Anthony Randolph return to action as they missed last week’s loss in Turkey and are seen as day-to-day ahead of Tuesday’s clash. Coach Pablo Laso isn’t just sweating on those two though.

“We won’t really know who’s able to play until game time,” he says. “Llull is fine as is Thompkins. Randolph is way better. Hunter still has some pain and Maciulis could be a little more serious with muscle problems in the leg. Until tomorrow we won’t be able to know who’s ready for the game.”

Bamberg go into this game with a 4-8 mark.

Olympiacos bids for a fourth straight win as they host Crvena Zvezda in a game between two fierce defensive units.

The Reds rank second in points allowed (75.3 per game) and Zvezda third (75.9). The difference comes in scoring where the hosts put up 80.6 points on average and the visitors just 74.2, second-worst among EuroLeague teams.

Anadolu Efes hosts Zalgiris in Istanbul as both sides look to come back from defeats last week.

Zalgiris though has a 7-5 record against Efes over the years in EuroLeague play. In their last game, however, Efes won in Kaunas 66-57 two years ago, although Zalgiris won in Istanbul earlier that same season.
