A few days ago, Panathinaikos signed Jurica Golemac in order to cover the absences of sidelined Mike Batiste and Kostas Tsartsaris. Bad luck continued for the Greens though as Golemac himself got injured.
Golemac took a dive in the game against Olympia Larissa, due to the slipery terrain of the court caused by licking from the ceiling as it was raining. Panathinaikos coaching staff feared that the injury was serious and the player would sit out for aobut a month but after today's medical exams it was determined that it was a simple muscle pull and the player is expected to resume training soon, maybe even making the 12-men squad against Khimki on Thursday.
