Former NBA guard Mike Bibby says he has a strict rule about footwear in his home, insisting that visitors wear only Jordan sneakers.
Bibby, who has been closely associated with the Jordan Brand throughout his basketball career, explained that he does not allow people to enter his house wearing shoes from competing brands.
“I don’t like people walking in my house with other sh*t, so you know that. Nothing but Jordan’s.”
The former Sacramento Kings star went even further, claiming that he has a designated area outside his house where he disposes of shoes he does not approve of.
“I got a little burn pit out the back so if I don’t like what they got, I take the shoes and throw it in the burn pit and give them another pair of shoes.”
Bibby spent 14 seasons in the NBA, playing for the Vancouver Grizzlies, Sacramento Kings, Atlanta Hawks, Washington Wizards, Miami Heat, and New York Knicks.
