Because this young upstart did something that hardly any NBA star has ever been able to do: Block a three-point attempt from reigning back-to-back NBA MVP Stephen Curry.
And what better platform to do it than in an exhibition game held by Under Armour in Taipei.
Mamuyac, age unknown refused to fall for Curry’s sublime ball handling and used lightening quick footwork to meet Curry’s step back and he defused a three-point bomb.
Boss.
