Olympiacos has ended speculation surrounding Thomas Walkup’s future by confirming it rejected an offer from Dubai and has no intention of negotiating his departure.

The Greek club announced Tuesday that it immediately turned down Dubai’s €600,000 proposal, making it clear the matter is considered closed.

According to reports, the EuroLeague newcomer submitted an official offer that would have been paid in two installments, but Olympiacos, the reigning EuroLeague champions, refused to entertain the deal.

Eurohoops previously reported Dubai’s interest while noting that Olympiacos was working through contract discussions with the 33-year-old guard.

Walkup signed an extension in 2023 and is set to earn approximately $1.1 million in the final year of his contract, which runs through 2027 and does not include a buyout clause.
