Luka Doncic has praised Los Angeles Lakers teammate Jaxson Hayes after the center became eligible to represent Slovenia internationally.

“I wasn’t involved in that process at all,” Doncic said. “I just play for the national team. But Jaxson is great, a very good player, so it’s an excellent addition.”

Hayes is expected to provide additional athleticism and frontcourt depth for Slovenia moving forward.
