The New York Knicks enter Game 4 of the NBA Finals with one notable name on the injury report. Mitchell Robinson is listed as available despite a right hand injury and a fractured right fifth metacarpal, while the San Antonio Spurs have no players listed.
Robinson has given New York valuable frontcourt minutes throughout the playoffs, averaging 5.2 points and 5.3 rebounds in 13.6 minutes across 16 games, and his presence can still help the Knicks protect the paint and clean the glass.
New York’s playoff rotation has leaned on a core that has already carried the club this far, but Robinson’s status gives the Knicks another interior body against Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs’ bigger lineups.
With no players listed, the Spurs will have their full rotation available as they try to turn Game 3 momentum into a tied series.
San Antonio pulled Game 3 behind Wembanyama’s 32 points, eight rebounds and six assists, and now they head into Game 4 with a full available roster and a chance to even the series.
New York has leaned on Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges and Josh Hart for major playoff minutes.
