Ajay Mitchell will once again be unavailable when the Western Conference Finals continue Thursday night in San Antonio, as the Oklahoma City Thunder ruled him out with a right soleus strain.

The injury will force Mitchell to miss his third consecutive game after getting hurt last Friday.

Oklahoma City clearly missed some of its backcourt creation in Game 4 without both Mitchell and Jalen Williams, two key ball-handlers within the rotation.

However, the Thunder responded impressively in Game 5 by scoring 127 points and consistently increasing the pace to generate easier offensive opportunities in transition.

Williams, meanwhile, remains questionable because of left hamstring strain injury management.

His availability for Game 6 may not be decided until shortly before tip-off after being ruled out late ahead of both Games 4 and 5.
