Brandon Jennings responded to recent criticism from Patrick Beverley, pushing back against comments questioning his NBA career and overall impact in the league.

Jennings argued that Beverley’s long NBA career was heavily tied to his defensive role rather than offensive production, while also claiming his own peak years were stronger individually.

“If he didn’t play defense, he wouldn’t have been in the league that long…” Jennings said.

He also compared their best seasons directly, suggesting Beverley never reached the same level offensively during his career.

“Your best year in the league was not better than mine.”
