Patrick Beverley criticized Brandon Jennings while discussing unrealized NBA potential, saying Jennings failed to fully capitalize on his talent during his professional career.

Beverley also credited Gilbert Arenas for helping pave the way for a generation of scoring guards who followed him into the league.

“Y’all should be kissing the ground that Gilbert Arenas walks on because, if it wasn’t for him, we would not even see y’all in the world.”

Jennings played 9 seasons for 5 teams, including the Bucks and Pistons. He averaged 14.1 points, 5.7 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 555 regular-season games.
