ImageA few days ago Panellinios had announced that they had reached an agreement with US point guard William Avery. The transfer was ruined though as Avery failed to pass all medical examinations set by the club.

Avery already left for the US and Panellinios is still looking for their starting playmaker and a player from the European market to cover the power forward position. This player is reported to be Nikoloz Tskitishvili who played in Fuenlabrada last season averaging 9 points per game even though the 212cm tall Georgian has set his prime objective to be a return to the NBA.

To cover the sudden loss in the playmaker position Panellinios is reported to try to sign Giannis Kalambokis, last season of Panionios, who is already in advanced negotiations with PAOK.
